Chaga latte magic
Healing your gut strengthens your intuition.
We experience intuition through our body, which is why it's important to heal our bodies in order to experience intuition more profoundly. Supporting our body to eliminate toxins, healing our gut and adrenals will aid us to strengthen our intuition and connect to our inner-knowing that is always trying to guide us and and give us the answers we seek.
Our intuition can be strengthened in other ways too as I shared in one of my latest posts HERE.
Today, I want to share a recipe I've been making that supports my gut health and healing on many levels. Sometimes I'll swap my morning cup of coffee for this magical chaga latte, which supports your gut and as a result... strengthens your intuition.
Many of my clients and people I know drink coffee first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (I used to do this too).
With this cup of coffee going straight into an empty stomach can result by → your anxiety getting heightened → this increases your adrenaline → adrenaline can mildly scorch intestinal linings → nerves in intestinal linings become inflamed.
When we have a healthy gut, brain and nervous system, the messages travel clearly and smoothly and answers become much easier to access.
Your body is a vessel. Everything you put in your body affects how you feel, your mood, intuitive power, your hormones, and can block your light.
Make sure you are feeding it nourishing + healing foods, caring for it and loving it. It is your home. <3
I'm really excited to share this new recipe with you today!
It's inspired by Medical Medium and ever since I discovered him,
I can’t get enough of his knowledge, recipes, books, and protocols!
I learned how beneficial and healing chaga is from him...
Chaga is a powerful medicinal mushroom. Chaga mushrooms grow with birch tress and can be found in northern regions of the United States and in the forest of the Appalachian mountains.
Chaga is rich in Vitamins A, C, B, D, and E and minerals such as manganese, iron, calcium, zinc, and selenium.
It also contains potent anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-candida, and anti-parasite properties.
According to Medical Medium, "Chaga is one of the best sources of betulinic acid which is known to kill cancer cells on contact. Chaga is therefore often listed as one of the top anti-cancer and anti-tumor foods and is highly valued in a variety of natural cancer treatments and preventative protocols. Research has shown Chaga to be particularly beneficial for colon, stomach, endometrial, lung, breast, and prostate cancer."
How incredible is that?! Chaga also strengthens the immune system, slows down the aging process and is an anti-inflammatory making it very healing for the gut and gut lining.
You can make chaga tea by adding 1 teaspoon of chaga extract powder to 8 oz of hot water. It has an earthy and rich coffee-like taste to it so you may want to add honey or coconut sugar or make the magical Chaga Latte I've been making...
Chaga Latte Magic
Here's how to make it...
>>Boil 1 cup of purified water and heat 1/2 cup of your favorite non-dairy milk in a separate pot.
>>In a coffee mug add 1 TSP of chaga extract powder (I get mine from Vimergy).
>>I also add 1 TBSP Dandy Blend (this is a blend of dandelion root, chicory root, and a few other ingredients that taste just like coffee or espresso without the caffeine).
**This is optional but it really gives it that extra umph to taste like coffee! You can buy it at any natural health food store or off Amazon.
>>I also add about 1 TBS of coconut sugar in the mug to sweeten it.
Once the water is boiling, add the water to the mug. Make sure to stir all ingredients together very well.
Once your milk is hot, begin to froth it with a milk-frother until nice and foamy and then add to the chaga mixture.
Stir, sip, and ENJOY.
