Daily rituals for living a life full of energy, vitality, and fulfillment


I just got back from Tony Robbins “Unleash the Power Within” weekend and I’m riding high from the whole experience. Honestly, it’s hard to describe the 50 hours of what we learned in one weekend.

14,000 of us from all over the world came together to break through limiting beliefs, step into our true potential and learn invaluable tools for living a life of fulfillment.

It wasn’t about changing who we are. It was about becoming more of ourselves and recognizing the most powerful resources that we already possess: courage, faith, determination, passion, and drive to grow, contribute, and celebrate life at the deepest, most powerful level.

We got into peak state every day. Did you know you can tap into optimal energy and change your state through:

  • your physiology i.e. breathing, dancing, singing etc. {Think about how you feel when you sing your favorite song or the relief and ease you feel after a deep breath.}

  • your language - what are you saying to yourself on a daily basis? What are your beliefs? Positive or negative… This will shape your life.

  • your focus - what you focus on expands. So for example, do you focus on what’s missing? It’s going to be hard to sustain happiness if you do.

Every morning we'd start very early and sometimes end around 1:30AM but the whole time our energy would be soaring because we’d constantly stop what we were doing/learning and apply these 3 principles to keep our energy high and stay in peak state. Oh and another rad thing we did.. we walked barefoot on burning coals (2,000 degrees to be exact). This wasn’t about just walking on hot coals because we’re all nuts - it was about pushing past our fears and not letting fear control us. Fear is an energy and we learned how to dance with it instead of trying to fight it.

The weekend was life-changing to say the least. I want to shout from the roof tops all that I've learned but I'll start with this because it’s something I already do and I can speak from experience and share authentically… You. Are. Your. Daily. Rituals. Having + practicing daily rituals (especially in the morning) will shape your life and who you are.

I believe in Magic Mornings.

Creating a practice of rituals to get into prime state every morning will change your life. You’ll feel your best so you can reach your goals and serve more, which will ultimately lead to true fulfillment.

The moment I wake up I like to get into optimal state and I'm sharing how I go about it below. Some days I don't get to do every one on the list so I'll usually make up for what I missed later in the day. My daily rituals (non-negotiable’s) to completely hook my day/life up:

  • Meditation for at least 10 minutes (here are my guided meditations I created for you to help you get started) I love applying doTERRA’s blend Breathe to my chest right before I meditate. Breathe is the respiratory blend and it allows you to connect to your breath in a deeper way. It’s actually known as “The oil of breath” and opens up the lungs and air passages to release any type of negative emotions. It really helps you to let go (breathe out) and receive (breathe in). It encourages trust and the ability to receive + fully open.

  • During my meditation I will also envision what my day will look like and focus on at least 2 or 3 things I’m going to create that day. The key here is to envision what you want to create like it's already been done.

  • After this I think about what I’m grateful for or I will write it out. At least 3 things. I’m sure you’ve heard this before many times but it’s one of the most powerful practices. When you’re in a state of gratitude it will banish any anger or fear. You can’t be grateful and fearful simultaneously.

  • If I have time I will say to myself or write out some affirmations and really FEEL it in my body. One of my current faves -->

  • Reading a book on personal development ('leaders are readers." - Jim Rohn) I love how Tony said: “ Read 30 minutes a day to feed your mind. Miss a meal but don’t miss 30 minutes of reading.”

I'm currently reading John Maxwell’s, “15 Invaluable Law of Growth” and loving it.

  • Cardio to get the endorphins pumping + raise my energy {if I can’t work out in the morning I will in the afternoon}

(I've been incorporating HIIT workouts twice a week in conjunction with yoga and walking/running) I swipe Motivate {doTERRA’s beautiful blend} or Peppermint before for boosting my energy. Anyone ever try doTERRA’s peppermint? It is no joke. When I begin working I turn on my diffuser and add a focus + concentration blend of doTERRA essential oils (one that I'm currently loving is below) and block out 50 minute chunks of time to focus on 2-3 different tasks I have to achieve for the day. <<50 minutes blocks have been scientifically proven to be what your brain can handle - it's less than an hour so mentally your brain says "I can handle this." It works, try it.>> And in those 10 minute breaks - go nourish yourself. Whether it's grabbing a tea, water, or green juice, dancing, saying your affirmation out lout, singing or closing your eyes and just breathing for a few minutes to keep you in optimal state. This practice has makes all the difference in my day. It may sound like a lot but it’s not when you get into a rhythm and all it takes is waking up 30 - 60 minutes before you do now. Getting into an optimal state within the first hour of waking up sets the tone for your day. And one thing I know for sure is that when you're feeling positive, centered, and energized, you can handle pretty much anything that comes your way. Create a practice that resonates for you for 30 days and it will change your life and business. Because how you live each day is how you live your life. XO Concentration and Focus Diffuser Blend This is one of my fave blends while I work to help me stay focused on the task at hand + give me an energy boost. Rosemary is one of the best oils for concentration, memory, and brain health so I usually always diffuse it while I work.
