I'm so excited to guide you through breathwork, meditation and a couple of journaling prompts right after to help take you deeper into this work!!
In case you're new to Breathwork - it's different than a breathing practice you may have experienced in a yoga class before.
Breathwork supports us in releasing trauma from the body, stress, anxiety, stuck emotions, stagnant energy, limiting beliefs and so much more.
When we breathe in a very conscious and continual way, the mind begins to unhook and we begin to relax the part of the brain called the "structured mind" that most of us are in majority of the time.
It's the inner-critic + fear-based mind where we are disconnected from our body.
When the mind relaxes, we get into our body and when we are breathing into our body, we're unbinding a lot of stuck energy and emotion that is stagnant and hanging out in our system.
We release what is keeping us stuck in the same patterns and beliefs that are blocking us from receiving + being in alignment with what we desire.
Through this breathwork practice it will allow our body to feel safe to receive, feel at ease, free, and expansive.
To prepare for our session:
Please dress comfortable and have a journal with you for post-meditation. Feel free to diffuse your favorite essential oil or light some sage :)
Avoid eating heavy meals 1-2 hours before you breathe.
Eating too close to practicing breathwork may cause nauseous.
Avoid any major commitments or a heavy to-do list following the session. - you'll want to take it easy + be gentle with yourself after.
